9.00 - 12.00 ... Sightseeing tour of Ljubljana
The guided walking tour will take you through the centre of
the Slovenian capital past its many tourist attractions. From the tower of the Ljubljana castle,
you will enjoy a magnificent view over the city and its surroundings. In addition, you will stroll
through the streets of Ljubljana during the different historical periods in the Virtual Museum.

Admire the most popular tourist resort in Slovenia - Bled. It is often referred as the "pearl of the Alps" owing to its emerald-green lake, a church on the island in the middle of the lake and the medieval castle from the 11th century, perched on a cliff over the lake. After the visit of Bled castle you will have free time to visit gift shops or to taste unique Bled cream cake "kremsnita". Stop for a lunch /dinner in a typical local inn in Radovljica - one of the towns that preserved the medieval form.

Postojna caves, an impressive, two million years old underground world of fabulous stalactites, stalagmites, pillars, and translucent curtains, constitute one of the most beautiful natural attractions in Europe. A ride by electric train will be followed by a guided walk through a series of illuminated halls and underground channels of a total length of 27 km. The underground waters are the home of the world's unique, rare, and endangered amphibian Proteus anguinus. The Dolenjska region is a charming area of gently rolling hills, vineyards, forests, numerous churches and some of Slovenia's best preserved castles such as the Otočec castle, occupying a tiny island in the middle of the Krka River. The visit to the castle will be followed by a coach ride to Trska gora (hillock near Otočec) to try some of the excellent local wines and food.

(6.00 - 20.00) Trip to Venice (Italy)
After a bus transfer to the Slovenian coast and a two and a half hour journey on board of the ferry Prince of Venice, you will arrive in Venice where an English-speaking guide will lead you through the streets of the floating city situated in a lagoon with 118 islets. You will visit San Marco's Square, the mighty Doge's Palace, the Rialto Bridge, and other interesting sights of the city. The rest of the afternoon is free. In the late afternoon, you will board the Prince of Venice and return to the Slovenian coast, where a coach will take you back to Ljubljana.

Cancellation of tourist programme
All cancellations must be sent in writing to Conference Secretariat. For cancellations received before July 28, 2007,
an administrative fee in the amount of 10 EUR will be charged to your credit card or applied toward the refund of payment
made by bank transfer. Cancellations received after July 28, 2007 are not refundable
