Visit of the PhD candidate from the La Sapienza University

Luigi Calcara, PhD candidate from the La Sapienza University of Rome (Università degli Studi di Roma "La Sapienza") was on a working visit at the EIMV from 22 to 26 September. It is one of the oldest universities, established in 1303, and has been ranked among 100 best universities in the world. He met with institute experts in the field of power transformers diagnostics, high voltage cables and generators. The main field of information exchange comprised the method of determining the insulation of important units in the EES (Health Index) and the impact on flexibility/resilience of the system. He also visited our laboratory, observed its capacities, including the measurement and field testing equipment.
