The development and use of SCADA systems

The NextGen SCADA 2020 Conference is taking place this week in Berlin, bringing together numerous leading experts in the field of development and use of modern SCADA systems for transmission and distribution operators. Our researcher Leon Maruša of the Electric Power System Control and Operation Department presented the development of WAMPAC (Wide Area Monitoring Protection and Control) programme platform and collaborated at the round table, where experts discussed the PMU (Phasor Measurement Unit), i.e. measurements for future needs on the basis of greater recognition and improved system management
