SEERC Colloquium 2022

Elektroinštitut Milan Vidmar actively participated at the SEERC Colloquium from 30 May to 1 June 2022 in Vienna. SEERC, the Regional Council for South-Eastern Europe under the auspices of CIGRE, is a central hub for the exchange of information and knowledge. Close cooperation between SEERC states member offers better opportunities for the development of the future power network and market to ensure a secure and reliable electrical energy supply. This year's topic was »Green Deal for the SEERC Region – The Future Power System in the SEERC region«. Apart from actively participating at panels and talks, the EIMV presented its reference services and products as an exhibitor and got the chance to connect with engineers from Southeast Europe. This year the program was upgraded with two new panels, Next Generation Network and Women in Energy, which highlighted the current issues in the region, such as the number of young engineers and the share of women in the energy sector.
