New cable connection between Croatian islands of Brač and Hvar

Last week, our team successfully carried out high-voltage tests and partial discharge (PD) measurements on a 110 kV submarine XLPE cable system, approximately 4.5 km long, connecting the Croatian islands of Brač and Hvar.
This new cable system will replace an older oil-filled cable, enhancing the power capacity from 70 MVA to 136 MVA.
