Mag. Maja Končan Gradnik is the recipient of the IEC 1906 AWARD for 2023

The International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), the international standards organisation, develops and publishes international standards for all electrical, electronic and related technologies - merged under the term electrotechnology. The IEC 1906 AWARD is awarded to individuals whose outstanding expertise has made a significant contribution to the development of standards and the advancement of IEC activities.
Mag. Maja Končan Gradnik, long-time Head of the Physical-Chemical Transformer Diagnostics Department at the Milan Vidmar Electric Power Research Institute, is the recipient of this year's prestigious international award in the field of TC10 - Liquid and Gaseous Dielectrics (Fluids for electrotechnical applications).

We would like to thank Ms Končan Gradnik for her contribution to the worldwide recognition of the Milan Vidmar Electric Power Research Institute in the field of transformer diagnostics and we would like to congratulate her on this award.
