Luka Zidarič has received the Bedjanič Award for exceptional academic achievements

One of EIMV’s youngest researchers, Luka Zidarič, Msc in Elec. Eng., has won the BEDJANIČ AWARD for his master’s thesis entitled “Inertial masses in Slovenian electric power system”, written with the mentorship of Assist. Prof. Dr. Urban Rudež at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the University of Ljubljana.

The distinguished Bedjanič Award has been traditionally given since 1970 to authors for high quality and creative theses, and their recipients must also exhibit excellent study success. The award is intended for enhancing the quality of science and research as well as artistic activity of students.

After finishing his master’s thesis, LUKA ZIDARIČ started his professional career at EIMV’s Electric Power System Control and Operation Department, where he joined the expert group for dynamics and the stability of Slovenia's electric power system.
