ISH 2019 - International Symposium on High Voltage Engineering

ISH 2019 - International Symposium on High Voltage Engineering was held in Budapest from 26 to 30 August 2019. ISH 2019 is a traditional meeting of electric power industry stakeholders in the field of high voltage technology, which traditionally takes place biannually, in exchange with the CIGRE conference in Paris. The conference was attended by experts from the EIMV, i.e. Dr. Stane Vižintin, Miha Bečan, Prof. Dr. Maks Babuder, Mag. Vladimir Djurica and Mag. Tomaž Živic. The presented the following papers:
- The Measurement System for 400 kV Voltage Harmonic Content Estimation Caused by the Statcom Device
- Overhead Power Lines and Live Line Maintenance
- Transients and Electromagnetic Compatibility II
Besides professional training of researchers, the symposium is also quite important for maintaining contacts with experts from all over the world. Prof. Dr. Maks Babuder as the permanent member of the Steering Committee of the ISH also attended meetings discussing professional topics in electric power industry and high voltage technology. Issues, concerning the organisation of future ISH conferences, were also discussed.
