International Conference on Lightning Protection 2018

The 34th International Conference on Lightning Protection is taking place this week, i.e. from 3 to 7 September, in Rzeszow in Poland. The conference features the platform for the exchange of scientific and technical information, connected to research and lightning protection. Work programme is composed of several topics, connected to studying and the characteristics of lightnings, the occurrence of lightning, protection against lightning in buildings and electric power systems, and the methods for improving the protection of people, animals and property against lightnings.

The Milan Vidmar Electric Power Research Institute is presented by Dr. Boris Žitnik, director, mag. Vladimir Djurica and Goran Milev. They also represent the EUCLID association that combines lightning localisation system operators from more than 20 European countries.
