Facilitating renewable energy deployment in the electricity sector in Slovenia

EIMV researchers presented the project entitled “Facilitating renewable energy deployment in the electricity sector in Slovenia”, carried out in partnership between EY Parthenon and the EIMV's Environmental Department. Working sets D2 and D3 were presented: Mapping the RES potential for electricity production in the whole territory of Slovenia (analysis of the overall RES production potential and environmental sensitivity analysis) (D2), and Analysis of optimal sites for major RES introduction for electricity generation. The project is funded by the European Commission and the beneficiaries are the Ministry of Environment, Climate and Energy and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Spatial Planning.
