En.grids 019: Smart grids – challenges in transferring new technologies in mass implementation

The En.grids 019 conference, organised by Energetika.NET in collaboration with the Smart Grids Technological Platform, was held on 17 May. The conference was intended for experts in smart grids that are directly included in development of the platform.

The event was opened with introductory speeches; the first person to address the attendees was the president of the Smart Grids Technological Platform, Dr. Boris Žitnik. He talked about energy transformation and the transition to low-carbon society, as well as all connected challenges.

This was followed by presentation of seminars and a round table entitled the Transfer of Knowledge and Experience from Developmental and Pilot Projects in the Electric Power System. Mag. Andrej Souvent also attended the round table. Mag. Dejan Matvoz presented an expert lecture entitled Advanced Visualisation of Voltage Quality Parameters with the ODIN-PQ Application.
