EIMV ASSOCIATES AWARDED AT THE CIGRE-CIRED CONFERENCE

The 15th CIGRE-CIRED Conference of Slovenian electric power sector that was held from 19 to 21 October 2021 in Laško, brought together more than 500 attendees who listened to 174 paper presentations within 22 study committees, two panel discussions and student paper presentations. The conference is the largest professional meeting of experts in electric power sector, where distinguished individuals also received commendations and awards. Simon Podkoritnik received a commendation by the CIGRE-CIRED association for a successfully implemented institutes's project. In energy cables, awards were give for the best papers in 2019 to Simon Podkoritnik, Ivo Kobal, Marko Janša, in overhead power lines awards were given to Dušan Huč, Primož Hrobat, Jure Strmec, while Miloš Maksić received an award in the field of operation and system management and Miha Grabner was awarded for research in dispersed resources and electric power management.
