Artificial Intelligence: Are we ready for challenges in the electric power industry?

On 6 November 2019, the Tecnological Park in Ljubljana hosted a workshop in collaboration with the CIGRE-CIRED Association, entitled “Artificial Intelligence: Are we ready for challenges in the electric power industry?”. The workshop, which was the first of such type in Slovenia, emphasised the issue of managing electric power data and advanced method, tested in practice and used to obtain applied value for better technical and commercial operations of Slovenian energy companies. Two experts from the EIMV’s Electric Power System Control and Operation Department (EPSCOD) collaborated at the workshop: Leon Maruša (Modern approaches to visualisation of energy data) and Miha Grabner (Artificial intelligence in electric power industry).
