Heavy downpours, gusts of wind, lightnings and thundering frequently accompany summer storms, which will, due to climate change, become even more extreme in the future. The experts of the Milan Vidmar Electric Power Research Institute and its Slovenian Centre for Automatic Location of Atmospheric Discharge explained how a lightning can damage a house, what is the best protection against them and what to do if we find ourselves in the middle of a storm in nature.
