4th SEERC International Conference in Istanbul

Our colleagues also attended the 4th SEERC International Conference in Istanbul, where they presented their paper Dynamic Network Tariffs and Electric Vehicle Smart Charging Infrastructure. Mag. Andreja Ivartnik Kanduč's presentation highlighted the contribution of the dynamic tariff methodology to the management of peak loads on the grid due to increased electricity demand as a consequence of the transition of companies and individuals to electric vehicles. We showed that by using load control and rescheduling the charging time of electric vehicles at EV charging points, users can make substantial savings on their own grid charge contributions using the new methodology for calculating network charges.
