3rd TwinEU General Assembly

Representatives of the Milan Vidmar Electric Power Research Institute attended the 3rd General Assembly of the TwinEU project, which took place on 17-18 December 2024 in Ljubljana. Together with other project partners, we participated in five different workshops over two days. Within the WP6, experts from the Electric Power System Control and Operation Department presented a case study that highlighted the view on power grid management and modelling that will undoubtedly change the way we think about the future of power systems. Emphasis was placed on the importance of integrating theory and practice for better network modelling, innovative approaches for building data spaces, and current challenges and future opportunities in the energy sector.

EIMV contributes to the overall project and to the Slovenian pilot project with its competences in the domains of power system management, operation and modelling, data model development and data interoperability between systems and stakeholders.
