14th Höfler Days Symposium

The symposium, organised by the Milan Vidmar Electric Power Research Institute (EIMV), will take place on 10 and 11 November in Portorož. The event traditionally deals with high-voltage engineering issues, and this year's focus will be on "Ensuring the Reliability of EPS Operation in the Energy Transition". The main topic will be discussed within the following themed sets: Ensuring the operational reliability of the EPS through different approaches (renewable resources, nuclear power plants, electricity storage facilities, FACTS devices), New technologies and solutions in the field of HV equipment; Diagnostics and maintenance of HV equipment and systems; Protection of EPS and RES against lightning strikes and overvoltages; New approaches to testing HV cables and cable equipment in the field and in the laboratory; Issues related to the siting of EP facilities.We would like to take this opportunity to invite experts to contribute their expertise to this traditional event.
