11th PIES Conference

11th PIES Conference of ICT professionals in energy supply sector of Slovenia took place in Portorož on 29 and 20 November. The main topic this year was "data-focused services". The programme, prepared by the president of the Programme Committee, Mag. Andrej Souventa, was very interesting. Mag. Souvent also led the round table entitled "Data-Focused Services – Challenges and Obstacles". The EIMV held three lectures at the conference, i.e.: Dr. Timotej Kodek presented his paper entitled "CIM Integrations under the NEDO Project", Miha Grabner presented the paper "Mechanical Learning in Smart Grids" and Leon Maruša presented his paper entitled "Prototype of Regional Platform for Offering Cross-Border Balancing Services under the FutureFlow Project".
