100th Anniversary of Electrical Engineering at the University of Ljubljana

On Monday, 20 May 2019, the Linhart Hall of Cankarjev dom hosted the celebration of the 100th anniversary of electrical engineering at the University of Ljubljana. The foundation of the Slovenian University was made on 19 May 1919 by the internationally renowned electrical engineering expert Dr. Milan Vidmar by opening the first technical university course and the opening lecture entitled "Engineer - the Philosopher, Machine - the Giant".

At this anniversary, Dr. Boris Žitnik as the Director of the Milan Vidmar Electric Power Research Institute received the award for many years of successful cooperation of the institute in this area.
