»CIGRE Awards« 2021

Within the scope of the largest international CIGRE Paris electric industry conference, that is currently celebrating its 100th anniversary, which is implemented in an advanced hybrid version, the awards for excellence have been granted to distinguished members. Our researcher Tim Gradnik, a long-term member of the association and the head and former secretary of the A1 – Power Transformers and reactors, received two awards: The prestigious CIGRE Technical Council Award, granted to an individual member for exceptional professional work, active cooperation and effort in the area of each individual study committee. He was also granted the honorary CIGRE Pioneer Award. This special award is granted to members who have contributed to the technological advancement of the virtual implementation of CIGRE events.
